On May 7th, 7,000 TEU container vessel “ONE REINFORCEMENT”, which was built by SWS, a subsidiary of CSSC for Seaspan Corporation, has been named and delivered. On the same day, SWS also commenced construction on three vessels.

The steel-cutting ceremony for the 8600 CEU PCTC H1602, built for CMB Financial Leasing, took place at the Fabrication Department’s cutting center.
H1602 is the third 8600 CEU PCTC built by SWS for CMB Financial Leasing, and it is registered with DNV. It has a total length of 199.9 meters, a molded breadth of 38 meters, and a molded depth of 14.8 meters, with a designed draft of 9.2 meters and a service speed of 19.0 knots. It utilizes a MAN B&W 7S60MEC10.5-GI-HPSCR main engine and meets TIER II/III regulations.
114K DWT Aframax Oil Tanker H1574
The commencement ceremony for the 114K DWT Aframax Oil Tanker H1574, built for Thenamaris, took place at the Fabrication Department’s cutting center.
H1574 is the fourth 114K DWT Aframax Oil Tanker built by SWS for Thenamaris, and it is registered with LR. This vessel’s detailed design was independently carried out by SWS. It has a total length of 249.95 meters, a molded breadth of 44.0 meters, and a molded depth of 21.2 meters, with a loaded draft of 13.5 meters and a service speed of 14.5 knots. It uses a MAN B&W 6G60ME-C10.5 main engine and complies with TIER III regulations.
114K DWT Aframax Oil Tanker H1593
The commencement ceremony for the second 114K DWT Aframax Oil Tanker H1593, built for Union Maritime Limited (UML), took place at the Yangzhong branch.
H1593 has a total length of 249.95 meters, a molded breadth of 44 meters, and a molded depth of 21.2 meters, with a designed draft of 13.5 meters. The vessel complies with TIER III requirements.
