On Sep 15th, "the Release Conference of 2015 Shanghai Top 100 Enterprises" was held in JinJiang Auditorium. The conference was hosted by Shanghai Enterprise Confederation (SHEC), Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association (SEA), and Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFEO). Shanghai deputy mayor Zhou Bo, shanghai government deputy secretary general Xu Yibo, chairman of SFEO Jiang Yiren, chairman of SHEC Hu Maoyuan, and over 300 representatives of Shanghai top 100 enterprises attended the conference. In the conference, company was awarded the title of Shanghai top 100 enterprises, keeping leading in Shanghai shipbuilding industry. Company Vice President Xu Ping represents central enterprises attended the conference and delivered a speech.

The comparison with last year's ranking result shows company has been steadily improving. SWS was ranked 41 in Shanghai top 100 enterprises, 14 in top 50 manufacturing enterprises, No.1 in Shanghai shipbuilding industry. Company's shipbuilding capacity has been ranked No.1 for ten years in a row since 2005. In 2014, company's shipbuilding capacity was ranked No. 3 globally, order taking was ranked No.2 worldwide and holding orders were ranked world No.1.
