On February 10th, good news was reported from No.1 dock of the company. SWS first-built 18000 TEU container ship (H6002) went launching successfully. H6002 was the top size container ship that SWS built for CMA-CGM from France. The container ship went keel-laying on September 3rd last year and it took around 5 months to realize launching. The company President Wang Qi, Vice President Chen Jun, Chief Production Officer, Wu Yongjun, and site managers from CMA-CGM attended launching ceremony. This ship is the first top size container ship that SWS has built, and its successful launching was under the collective support from all departments. The hard work not only ensured the success of launching but also presents an excellent status of the container ship; additionally, the hard work lays the groundwork of the future delivery of mooring system test. Furthermore, on February 10th, the 5th JU2000E type self-elevating jack-up drilling rig (H1319) SWS has built was launched after the launching of the container ship (H6002). All statistics of H1319 fit accord to company's pre-set integrity data, and the newly launched rig topped the record of being the most integrated rig company ever built. In addition, on February 7th, the 4th JU2000E self-elevating jack-up rig (H1320) has successfully completed whole elevating test in SWS Offshore. It was the first time the company undertook independent elevating operation, which was later well responded by POD owners of Norway, and new share holder Paragon. The successful completion of the process has a significant meaning, and it marks company has controlled the core technology of elevating operation on self-elevating jack-up drilling rigs.
