In the morning of Nov. 30, with the two whole vessels being towed to the outfitting quay by tugboats, the last production milestone--launching in the"8th round" was successfully completed. The launching is carried out 8 days ahead of schedule which was on Dec.8. The production integrity of launching was the best in this year, and the in-dock working period is only 36 days which also made a new record.
The two launched vessels in this round are H1286 and H1334, two 180,000 DWT Bulk Carriers built for Frontline. The two half main-deck vessels are H1287 and H1278, two 180,000 DWT Bulk Carriers respectively built for Frontline and Thenamaris.
The 36-days in-dock production period of H1286 and H1334 in this round is very close to the 35-days in-dock production period which is decided to implement in next year to achieve the "10 round" production target. This launching is a significance to lay the foundation and gain experiences for realizing the "10 rounds" production target in 2015.
