The Site Assessment of "Shanghai Municipal Quality Management Award" has been Successfully Completed

From Oct. 27 to 28, the expert assessment group from Shanghai Municipal Government Quality Award Committee carried out the two days site assessment for “Shanghai Government Quality Award” which SWS applied for. The assessment started on Oct. 27, experts Shi Pingchuan, Zhu Wenwei from Shanghai Municipal Government Quality Award committee, together with Shi Peikang and Yang Jin from Municipal Quality Committee, as well as company leaders and departmental responsible persons attended the site assessment. The Vice President of SWS--- Chen Jun, Deputy Chief Technical Officer--- Xu Zifu, Deputy Chief Economic Officer--- Yuan Feipeng, Chief Production Officer on Offshore--- Zhang Wei, Chief Production Officer--- Wu Yongjun and others attended the informal discussion. In the meeting, Chen Jun briefly introduced company profile and major business process, and reported the role of top management playing in company culture, corporate governance, social responsibility, strategy plan making and direction of future development. During the assessment, Human Resources Dept, Sales and Marketing Dept, Facility Maintenance & Logistics Management Dept., Production Management Dept, Quality Assurance and Control Dept, Design Management Dept, Strategy and System Management Dept, Information Technology (IT)Dept, Science and Technology Management Dept, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Dept, Finances Management Dept, and Procurement and Supply Dept respectively reported to the group of assessment committee on human resources management, customers and market, operational management, technology research and development, innovation respectively. While in the two-day assessment, greatly supported by company leaders and cooperated by relevant personnels, the expert assessment group listened to the reports from leaders, employees' discussion, examined associated materials, observed in sites and then completed the site assessment successfully.
