When summer ends and comes autumn, when there's full of smell of flowers, on the special day of the 18th October, SWS had her 15th birthday. Company leaders, senior experts and employees were happily gathered, together witnessing the exciting moment. CSSC vice president Sun Yunfei, CSSC assistant president, SWS chairman and secretary of the Party, Huang Yongxi, SWS president Wang Qi, company executives Zhu Dadi, Xu Ping, Chen Jun, Chang Xudong, Hu Keyi, Zhu Yu, Chen Gang, company senior consultants Hu Chuanzhi, Li Ping, Wang Debao, Chen Jinhai, Chen Kaiguo, company special experts Sun Jianzheng, and representatives from owners, shipyard managers, and representatives from classification society and other guests attended the flag raising ceremony. Flag raising ceremony was hosted by SWS deputy secretary of the Party Zhu Dadi. At 8: 18 in the morning, former CSSC president Hu Chuanzhi announced the start of the flag raising ceremony for 15th anniversary of SWS. Armed policemen swaggered out, orderly walked towards flag tower. Leaders on the stage, guests and more than 500 employees from SWS, SCH, SWS Offshore, CSSC Shenghui formed a square that faced flag, and they solemnly stared at the flag when the 5-star flag gradually raised, flying in the sky. Wang Qi announced "the decision of praising advanced group and individuals" at the ceremony. Company leaders and representatives from owners presented the awards to those praised group and individuals. Huang Yongxi in his speech reviewed the past 15 years of journey that SWS has walked, and he positively confirmed the great results that SWS has achieved. He points out that after 15 years of experience and toughening, SWS has rapidly expanded in scale, shipbuilding capacity, branding, management, and SWS is willing to take social responsibility and it is now a leading shipyard in China; meanwhile, it has an international reputation, however, SWS has yet not reached its top, and it is ready to conquer many more peaks. He emphasized that in the next 15 years, SWS will have to set development strategy of globalization and multi-channel development. SWS is not only going to continue to lead in business operation, in shipbuilding capacity globally, but also is going to build overseas manufacturing base, R & D center, global sales channel and service network; at the same time SWS comprehensively upgrades her traditional business, working hard on seeking breakthrough of high end products technology. By integrating maritime security, marine science and research, marine transportation, marine development industries, as well as developing "merchant vessel and offshore equipment building", "marine and offshore equipment", "other relevant service industry", SWS will become a global leading shipbuilding and offshore expert, achieving mankind's dream of Noah's Ark. He encouraged all the employees to create glory one more time, transitioning from "great to excellent", picturing a grander blueprint in the next 15 years with full passion. Sun Yufei read a congratulatory letter in the flag raising ceremony, and congratulated SWS' 15th anniversary, and he confirmed the great achievements SWS has made. He emphasized that as a core shipbuilding company in CSSC, SWS holds glorious responsibility and mission, and it should continue to set "stable progression, reforming and innovation, deeply promoting comprehensive transformation development" as priority. Keeping economic capacity stablely increasing while breaking through the core technology for high value-added vessels construction, fully increasing offshore manufacturing research ability, seeking every opportunity in marketing, deeply promoting restructuring, further reinforcing mechanism reformation, maintaining the foundation of healthy sustainable development, ensuring the completion of every task that CSSC assigns, and yet to work hard for higher goals.
