SWS Held “Seminar of Studying the Spirit of 2014 CSSC Party Building Meeting”

On August 9th and August 10th 2014, SWS held “Seminar of Studying the Spirit of 2014 CSSC Party Building Meeting” in the lecture hall of SWS Science and Technology Building. Instead of inviting experts to giving lectures and participants discussing in groups, this year the same department employees from SWS, SCH and SWS Offshore were teamed up for benchmarking improvement. After internal discussion, each group should work out a speech which was then presented by one representative for public discussion. With the goal of “Acceleration, Cost Reduce, Efficiency Improvement and Risk Control”, every group should take reform as measure, combining their own situation, to put forward directions of future work and detailed measures. Mr. Wang Qi, president of SWS, gave comments on the speeches from all the departments. He said that the second half year is crucial for the whole year production, thus from now on we should begin to plan for the fourth quarter management strategy releasing meeting. The production task of this year should move into closing stage as soon as possible. All the work goals and tasks of this year should be completed. At the same time, we should elaborately plan for improving quantity in order to lay a good foundation for next year. Mr. Huang Yongxi, Party Committee Secretary of SWS, gave fully credit to the seminar result. He required everyone to practice “three transfers” for reform. The “three transfers” are: the current bottleneck and problems of the management and production should be transferred into directions and goals of further reform; the directions and goals of reform should be transferred into measures and methods of reform; and the measures and methods of reform should be transferred into the results and benefits of reform. He said that reform is a painful and tough process which cannot be done without wisdom and toil. He asked everybody to possess confidence and boldness, starting from the perspective of company, promoting a mutual and steady development of both company and individuals.
