On July 15th 2014, with sirens pulled on three times, the three vessels which are H1071 and H1072, the first two VLGCs built for Norwegian Seatankers Group, and H1064A, the 4th 180,000DWT Bulk Carrier built for Hongkong China Shipping Development Co. Ltd., were launched at the same time successfully, reflecting SCH keep making progress on construction technology in dock. H1071 is the first VLGC built in China, H1072 the second. These two high added-value vessels require high construction technology and are extremely difficult to build. The successful launching of three vessels fully displayed the effectiveness of SCH workers, filling many technological blanks of China VLCG construction. Additionally, at 5:00 pm July 16th 2014, H1063A, the 3rd 180,000DWT Bulk Carrier built by SCH for Hongkong China Shipping Development Co. Ltd., successfully came back from her sea trial. The successful completion of these milestones in only two days further stimulated the passion of SCH employees and called for comprehensive completion of the second half year’s production goal.
