On July 17, H1267---the fourth 180k DWT Capesize bulk carrier built for Frontline started her sea trial from SWS No.1 Outfitting Quay. This vessel launched on June 16 from SWS No.1 Drydock and took 31 days to be ready for sea trial. Comparing with the 38 days for outfitting of first project in this series (H1265), this vessel shortened working days by a week as well as the 32 days for the second project (1266), it shortened working days by one day. The shortening of Mooring Test period has indicated the building of new designed energy saving bulk carriers is gradually in better situation.
Before the launching of H1267, the integrity of in-dock construction was in excellent condition, there were 37 system inspections completed, except M/E system, all other systems had completed the fuel oil feeding, the structure, tightness, blasting and paint of almost cabins were also completed. After the launching of this vessel, each working department strictly complied with the working plan which made by Production Operating Dept. and promoted the realization of the success in installing Main Engine, Generator, Anchor Wing, rudder and boiler respectively. The mooring test for M/E was carried out on July 12, the total programs of M/E inspections were finished after 26 days of launching, that maximally guaranteed the vessel to go to sea trial successfully.
