On Feb. 17, there was full of happiness and joy at No. 2 Quay in SWS. The Naming and Delivery Ceremony of H1231, which is the second 319,000 DWT VLCC built for Maran Tankers after "Maran Cleo", was held in SWS. The Vice President of SWS---Mr. Chen Jun delivered the greeting speech on the Ceremony which was hosted by Deputy Chief Technical Officer---Mr. Xu Zifu. While expressing the warm welcome to all distinguished guests, Mr. Chen Jun hoped to keep the friendly cooperation with Maran Tankers to build the high quality vessels. The General Manager of Maran Tankers---Mr. Stavros Hatzigrigoris delivered the speech on the ceremony. In his speech, Mr. Stavros praised the quality of the vessel, and expressed his appreciation to all personnels who had made great efforts in construction of the vessel. He also expressed his best wishes for the better cooperation of both sides in the future. The Godmother---Ms. Annette Davies christened H1231 as "Libra Voyager". After the naming ceremony, all guests took photos before the new vessel and visited on board.
