October is a harvest season of the year. On Oct. 15, SWS signed new building contracts of four 180,000 DWT Capesize Bulk Carriers with Herun Group. Mr. Tao Ying, Chief Technical Officer of SWS and Mr. Zhang Yong, Asst. President of Herun Group,on behalf of the both sides respectively, signed the building contract. Mr. Huang Yongxi, Chairman of SWS, Mr. Wang Qi, President of SWS, Mr. Chen Jun, Vice President of SWS, Mr. Xu Songbo, Chairman of Herun Group, Mr. Jiang Baohua, Vice Chairman of Herun Group, Mr. He Xiaoxing and Mr. Qiu Jianying,Vice President of Herrun Group witnessed the contact signing ceremony. The new ordered 180,000 DWT Capesize Bulk Carrier fully meets the latest international environmental protection requirements and strength standard. Comparing with the original bulk carrier designs, the integrated fuel consumption of new type is 15% lower, which realizes the energy efficiency, and is an ultra large green bulk carrier with the energy saving, environmental protection, and economic low carbon consume. Since the end of last year, SWS has obtained orders of totally 33 vessels which reinforce SWS' dominant position in the shipbuilding market.
