On May 29, with the sufficient sunshine and balmy winds, our distinguished guests gathered in No.2 Quay of SWS to celebrate the Naming of H1216.

Mr. Xu Zifu, Deputy Technical Manager of SWS hosted naming ceremony. Mr. Chen Jun, Vice President of SWS and Mr. Kunio Morimoto, General Manager of Coal & Iron Ore Carrier Group, KAWASAKI KISEN KAISHA, LTD ( KINE) delivered their speeches respectively. They expressed their common wish that SWS and KLINE should continue to further cooperation.

With the witness and blessing of all guests, Executive Officer of Technical Group, Environment Management Division, KINE, Mr.Shunichi Arisaka, named H1216 “CAPE ASTER”. It is known that KLINE always names vessels after flower, ASTER represents wisdom and nobleness.

It is reported that “CAPE ASTER” is the second 176K DWT Capesize Bulk Carrier we built for KLINE. After “JSW SALEM”, she is another fruit of good cooperation between SWS and KLINE.
