At the beginning of the New Year, SWS ushered in a good start. On the afternoon of January 10, H1452 MARAN SPLENDOUR, which was built for the Greek MDM, was delivered successfully. Andreas Ploumis, head of MDM site supervision team, and representatives of CSTC, ABS, and SWS construction team attended the delivery ceremony.

The ship is a new generation 210K DWT Newcastle bulk carrier independently developed by SWS. It has a length of 299.88 meters, a width of 50.00 meters, a depth of 25.20 meters, and a speed of 14.5 knots. It is classified into the ABS classification society, which meets the requirements of TIER III and HCSR. It is equipped with a desulfurization tower, which meets the latest environmental protection requirements and can adapt to a variety of routes.

Through the untiring efforts of the R&D and construction team, after three types of development along with 11 generations, SWS’s serial bulk carrier has gradually occupied the largest domestic and international market share and was renowned as "the first brand" of Chinese ship export, and received the recognition of ship owners at home and abroad with its excellent technical performance which maintained the world’s leading level. The successful delivery further consolidated SWS position as the market leader, technology leader, and price setter in the bulk carrier sector.
