Recently, SWS’ Party Committee positively responded to CSSC “The proposal on supporting and helping Heqing Yunnan out of poverty by donations", and launched a donation campaign in the company. On August 24th, SWS sent the donations amounted to 267,205.63 yuan to CSSC Shanghai Ship Industry Co., Ltd. which represented the friendship of SWS shipbuilders. According to the statistics, by the end of August 22nd, total 8988 employees from SWS, SCH and SWS Offshore joined the donation. Their love donation will be used to help Heqing Yunnan out of poverty.
As per the new requirements to build a well-off society in an all-around way which were put forward in the fifth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, Heqing, a national poverty county in Yunnan, has been a targeted country of CSSC for anti-poverty since 2002. Until now, CSSC had invested 15,093,700 yuan and helped Heqing from aspects like education, health care, infrastructure construction, labor training and employment and etc. in association with the actual situation of Heqing's economic and social development. Among them, the 46 "Spring Bud Class" mainly sponsored by CSSC had financed 2336 students, helped 1212 students from poor families, of which there are dedications from "Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding". In March of this year, SWS organized a “learn from Lei Feng” activity themed by ”Concern about Spring Bud, Love in the deep sea”, and dedicated love to "CSSCS Spring Bud Class"students in Heqing County by donating books, stationery and so on.On August 15th, the company quickly launched a propaganda and mobilization in accordance with the specific requirements of CSSC after receiving the proposal. SWS Top Management, Party members and cadres at all levels all took the lead to donate, and the employees enthusiastically dedicated their love. Due to the time limit, some business travelling employees were unable to go to the scene to donate money.They transferred the money through e-banks and entrusted a colleague to donate ; some sea trial staff cannot receive the message at sea, but they still made a donation once once they learntthe message. Love is full of the world .The donations fulfilled with love of SWS staff will help people in Heqing out of poverty and overcome difficulties.
