April 1, Mr. Sheng Jigang, President of SWS, received Tim Schweikert, the Vice President, also Marine Business General Manager in GE as well as his delegation. Both parties exchanged ideas on development of marine industry and range of mutual cooperation in future.

President Sheng Jigang expressed his warm welcome to Mr. Tim Schweikert and his delegation. It is said the SWS had an extensive cooperation at offshore construction with GE. Through this visit, both parties wished that they could strengthen cooperation and achieve mutual benefits and win-win in area of marine intelligent manufacturing, big data and talent training in future.

Mr. Tim Schweikert thanked Mr. Sheng for his warm reception at first. According to his understanding, SWS is the largest shipbuilding enterprise in China. The merchant vessels and offshore in SWS developed in an all-around way, especially the advancement of cruise ship project further consolidated the fame of SWS in shipbuilding industry. Meanwhile, GE has a good business performance in cruise ship equipment supporting, besides of that, GE wishes to share her design plans and experiences in aspects of cruise ship advancement, automation and control system so as to persistently consolidate mutual friendly cooperation.
