The naming ceremony of H1253, the 319000DWT VLCC built by SCS for Ocean Tankers, Singapore was held at No.3 Quay of SCS on March 22, 2013.
Mr. Xu Baixin, Vice President of SCS and Ms. Lim Huey Ching, Financial Controller of Ocean Tankers respectively made a speech on the ceremony. H1253 was the 4th newbuilding of the series of 5 VLCCs ordered by Ocean Tankers in SCS and the 25th vessel delivered by SWS & SCS.
Accompanied by the blessings of all the guests attending, Ms. Lim Huey Ching named H1253 “Jing Gang San” and cut the ribbon to unveil the vessel name.
“Jing Gang San” was delivered to her Owner on March 25 and departed from SCS for her maiden voyage on March 26.
