On March 20, 2013, “Hai Yang Shi You 981”, the deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform built by SWS gained one more honor. The project “Design and Construction Management of Ultra Deepwater Semi-submersible Drilling Platform” was awarded the First Prize of Enterprise Management Innovation of Shanghai on the 4th session of the 4th membership commendation conference 2013 held by Shanghai Municipal Federation of Economic Organizations and Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics.

It is reported that totally 154 enterprise modern management innovation achievements were commended of which 14 gaining First Prize, 70 gaining Second Prize and 70 gaining Third Prize respectively. The project “Design and Construction Management of Ultra Deepwater Semi-submersible Drilling Platform” declared by SWS won the First Prize. The project also won the Second prize of National Innovation Achievement, First Prize by Military Industrial Enterprise Association, First Prize by Shanghai Shipbuilding Industry Association.
