The audit and assessment meeting on clean production was held at SCS on November 20, 2012. Experts from Chongming County Environmental Protection Bureau, Shanghai Clean Production Office and other industries related to clean production and energy made the audit and assessment on cleaner production of the company. SCS Vice President Mr. Xu Baixin, directors and relevant personnel from Strategy & Management Dept., Utility Supply & Facility Maintenance Dept., Procurement & Supply Dept., Manufacturing Dept. and HSE Dept. attended the meeting. In the meeting, SCS reported to the audit advisory body the phase work condition of clean production audit and assessment, the implementation of low cost and high cost programs on cleaner production, and the communication and coordination of the relevant issues. The expert group visited the key low and high cost projects, reviewed the relevant data and discussed the main contents of the assessment report. The expert group unanimously agreed that SCS has passed the round of audit and assessment on clean production. The top management and the various departments of the company paid great attention to the audit assessment. The departments fully engaged to prepare plans and measures and made great contribution to the development of clean production. Through the new round of audit and assessment on clean production, a solid foundation has been laid for SCS for the further acceptance audit of clean production.
