The golden autumn of October is the harvest season in the whole year. On Oct.26, the naming ceremony of H1237- the eighth Capesize Bulk Carrier built for ALPHA TANKERS was held at No.3 Quay in SWS. Mr. Wang Qi –president of SWS mentioned in his speech that as our strategic business partner, ALPHA TANKERS has provided great support and sound technical guidance for us. Meanwhile, SWS has dedicated to build high quality vessel and provide best after-sales service for years of cooperation. With the common effort, there are 7 Capesize bulk carriers we delivered had been successfully passing through the test by winds and waves. SWS will as always further enhance the management, promote the quality of shipbuilding and safety control and we would chase the opportunity for our further cooperation with ALPHA TANKERS. Dr. E. Kalpyris- Consul General of Greece and Mr. G. Laou- Technical Director of ALPHA TANKERS acknowledged in their speeches to this high quality vessel we delivered , expressed their appreciation to our staff for their diligence and hard work and looking forward to deepening friendship and cooperation with SWS. After Mrs. Lydia Xuli named H1237 as “HERODOTUS”, she unveiled this huge vessel with blessings of all attendees.
