SWS has demonstrated its efficient dock scheduling and execution capability with the completion of two key production milestones at dry dock No. 2 within consecutive days.
On December 14, the 114,000 dwt Aframax product tanker H1456, built for Turkey’s YASA Shipping, was launched. This marked the eighth batch launching operation from dry dock No. 2 in 2025. The ceremony was attended by SWS Director Zhizhong Li, representatives from YASA Shipping and Lloyd’s Register (LR), and relevant SWS departments. The H1456 is the first vessel constructed by SWS for YASA.

The following day, December 15 saw the successful keel laying of the 158,000 dwt crude oil tanker H1598 for Greece’s CAPE SHIPPING. Director Li Zhizhong again joined representatives from the shipowner, Lloyd’s Register, and SWS teams to mark the occasion. Throughout the H1598 project, the team adhered to a strict “same-day issue, same-day resolution” principle to ensure progress.
