On July 6th, SWS united CSTC to hold a “cloud signing” ceremony of shipbuilding contracts for four 7000TEU container vessels with T.S.Lines Co.,LTD. In the presence of all guests, Chen Desheng, chairman of T.S.Lines, Chen Gang, president of SWS, and Wu Aijun, the vice president of CSTC signed the construction contract on behalf of each party respectively.

The 7000TEU container vessel ordered belongs to the middle-sized container ship type, which is independently designed by SDARI and fully performed the design concept of green environmental protection, highly efficient energy saving and safe transportation. With a length of 272.5m, a molded width of 42.8m and a scantling draft of 14.55m, it meets the requirements of TIER III and EEDI in three phases.

The signing is the first cooperation between SWS and T.S.Lines, further enpanding the customer group of SWS in Taiwan region.

By the signing, SWS powerfully consolidated the share in market segments of middle-sized container vessels, and established a great foundation for realizing the mass production and highly efficient construction of middle-sized container vessels.
