On April 15, SWS accomplished loading test for 5 sets of generators on CJ46, which marks the construction of this unit has been making a rush to the launching phase. To ensure the accomplishment working milestone of main generator ahead of the schedule, since this March, the project team and all production departments had taken all effort to get ready for generators loading test. The Offshore Project Dept., Offshore Design Institutes, and SWS Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept. worked together and set up a plan for sea water cooling system which adopted the temporary draught fans and temporary ventilation tubes to ventilate the engine room in succeed. In late March, the commissioning people had started tracing the whole production process. On Mar. 25, the water input for main engine water cooling system and the fuel feeding for fuel oil tank were completed. On April 3, the main generator alarming test was carried out. On April 10, the dynamic alarming tests for 5 sets of generators were completed. On April 13, the main engine loading test and function test were started. After the hard working in three consecutive days and nights, the single generator loading tests for 5 sets of generators have been successfully completed. The main generator inspection was the first item in commission period for H1368. Upon the successfully completion of this inspection, it was time for starting the commission period of this first-built CJ46 drilling rig. In the following working phase, focusing on the milestone of launching, a tough battle will be started.
