According to the arrangement of "Safety Working Month Activity in 2014", in order to effectively carry out the safety training of all employees, HSE Dept. organized the relevant departments to held "The All-around Competition on Safety" in HSE Simulation Hall on July 3rd. There were totally 11 departments attending the competition including seven production departments, Power Supply and Facility Maintenance Dept., Procurement and Supply Dept., Accuracy Management Dept., and Quality Assurance and Control Dept. Each team attending the competition consists of one Section Chief, one Head of team, and one employee from each department There were four competitive items for each team to complete in the shortest possible time. The first competitive item is Knowledge Contest on Safety, which is for three participating members to correctly answer the questions on IPAD as much as possible within two minutes. The second competitive item is artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which is for the participating team to complete the artificial respiration and CPR for five groups of persons within two minutes. The third competitive item is Chamber Escape, which is for the participating team to successfully evacuate from the limited smoky space in the shortest possible time. The fourth competitive item is "Fire Hose and Fire Hose Nozzle", which is for the participating team to complete the connection of fire hose and fire hose nozzle in the shortest possible time. The participating teams' comprehensive technology about safety can be fully inspected by these four competitive items. Depending on the excellent teamwork and safety skills, the Blasting and Coating Dept. won the final championship of this competition. The Hull-outfitting and Installation Dept. and Machinery Installation and Commission Dept. respectively won the Second Place and the Third Place. By holding this competition, the safety skills and knowledge of the personnel from all levels of each department can be investigated effectively, and the various types of safety knowledge had been further spread, which are our purpose of the post trainng.
