In the morning of May 28th, the chairman of CSSC, the secretary of the Party--- Mr. Hu Wenming went to “SWS Offshore” for on site the inspection. He highly praised the fully implementation of comprehensive transformation development strategy. He put forwards the sincere expectations to accelerating the capacity construction in autonomation, serialization and branding construction for offshore products while expanding offshore market actively.
Hu Wenming was accompanied by the chairman of SWS Mr. Huang Yongxi and the president of SWS Mr. Wang Qi. They went to Manufacturing Dept. in “SWS Offshore” to get detailed production information on the pre-treatment and cutting of steel. At the rig legs manufacturing line of Jack-up Drilling Rig, Hu Wenming specifically asked for the production and technology difficulties on its associated parts, after knowing that the company has fully mastered the technology of manufacturing legs and elevating equipments, Hu Wenming repeatedly praised it. In the Piping Fabrication Dept., Hu Wenming also had a close look at the construction situation of the Living Quarters.
Later on, through going to the quayside, getting onboard, going into the engine room and climbing up the derrick in “SWS Offshore”, Hu Wenming had an in-depth inspection on the production field of Jack-up drilling rig--- H1288, attentively asked for information on its technology performance and the status of commissioning and completion. On the drill floor, Hu Wenming carefully listened to the introduction made by engineers and technicians, when he got to know the cantilever and other steel structures were constructed by our own yard, and achieved many breakthroughs, he pointed out “from 300 m shallow water to 3000 m deep water drilling platform, SWS can undertake all of them. Based on this good foundation, we need to accelerate the development of offshore business, forming serialization and branding”.
