On Feb. 27, the first Monthly Administrative Conference in 2014 was held in SWS. In the meeting, there were totally 13 projects from 11 departments awarded "Golden Rooster Awards" as the winners in Labor Competition of Single Indicator. The HSE Dept., QC Dept., Production Management Dept., Offshore Project Dept., and VLGC Project Team from both SWS and SCH delivered their working reports in the meeting. The meeting reviewed the company's operation on HSE, quality, and production management since the new year. Focusing on the industrial output of the company in 2014, new products undertaking, shipbuilding capacity, the passing rate of external inspections, and the production efficiency, the Strategy Management Dept. analyzed the Quest Targets. In February, the company had completed a number of milestones consecutively On Feb. 17, the Naming Ceremony of 319,000 DWT VLCC---H1231 was held; on Feb. 18, the Steel Cutting Ceremony of 18,000 TEU Container Ships---H6001&H6002, which are the largest container ships in China, was held; on Feb. 20, the Launching Ceremonies of H1275 and H1289---the third offshore drilling rig in SWS were held in SWS; on Feb. 21, the Keel Laying Ceremony of H1305 was held; on Feb. 22, the Sea Trial of H1290 was completed; on Feb. 24, the Keel Laying Ceremony of H1320---the offshore drilling rig was held. With the common effort of all employees, the company has achieved great beginning in 2014.
