On Nov. 28, "The Release Conference on the Annual Achievements of QC team in2013" was held in SCH. There were totally more than 60 persons attended the conference including the heads of the relevant departments, the leaders in charge of the production departments, the managers of quality and safety Office, and the heads of teams. There were totally 10 achievements focusing on the quality research and quality improvements for 9400 TEU Container Ship and 83K VLGC released on the conference. After the final evaluation, the QC team from Curved Block Assembly Section of Assembly Dept. got the first prize; QC team from test group of Accuracy Management Dept. and Daofeng QC team from Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept. got the second prize; QC team from Piping Fabrication Dept, QC team from Field Section No.1 of Blasting and Coating Dept. and T bar QC team from Manufacturing Dept. were awarded the third prize Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept. won the outstanding organization award. Recommended by the Quality Assurance and Control Dept., in this year, the Daofeng QC team of Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept won "the 2013 Shanghai Outstanding Quality Management Team", the QC team of hull construction precision won the "2013 National Excellent Quality Management Group", Chen Guanling from the Quality Assurance and Control Dept. won the "2013 Shanghai Quality Management Group Activities Excellent Promoters". The mass quality management activities of SWS have gained remarkable results.
