On Sep. 10th, the delivery ceremony of H1026-- the 4,600TEU Container Ship built by SCH was hosted by CSTC at MARINE TOWER. The delivery of H1026 marks that the construction mission of 4,600 TEU container ships was successfully completed. H1026 is the final one in this series which was built for the owner---RHI, Germany. During the construction of H1026, the project group adhered to the schedule of the delivery date and actively responded every comment from ship-owner in spite of the tight shipbuilding schedule. The Deputy Chief Construction Manager called for the working site meeting to analysis the ship-owners' comments and assigned relevant work when the vessel just came back from the sea trial. The personnel from Design Dept. No.3 translated the ship-owners' comments, and then set up the solutions. The Production Operation Dept. sorted out the comments one by one and assigned work to relevant departments. The Procurement and Supply Dept. confirmed and collected all the necessary documents within two days. Besides of that, all production departments were required to eliminate all comments which need to fire work within 7 days. To keep the step with current status of construction, all the production departments extended their working hours. In the site meeting, every event and comment on the day were reviewed and checked carefully, in order to find and solve the problems in time, as well as put forward the key events for the next day. With the concern and guidance from the top management of SCH, all the departments made great efforts with their serious and responsible working attitude to guarantee the delivery of the vessel within 20 days after coming back from her sea trial.
