On Aug. 3 and 4, SWS held "2013 Management Enhance Seminar". With clearing the new strategic targets of "Innovation Lead，Management Enhancement， and Restructuring Development", SWS has entered into a new stage of reform and development by thinking deeply the change of development mode and the optimization of products distribution. Mr. Bao ZhangjJing, the director of China Shipbuilding Economy Research Center, and Prof. Wang Fanghua from Shanghai Jiao Tong University were specially invited to the seminar. They expounded the prospects and meaning of our current restructuring development by analyzes on the restructuring and upgrading path of the shipbuilding enterprises in both Japan and South Korea, as well as the logic of restructuring and development. They also emphasized on the necessity for SWS to seize the opportunity to carry out the restructuring of development mode for maintaining the healthy development in the current competitive market. Mr. Huang Yongxi, Chairman of SWS, and Mr. Wang Qi, President of SWS, respectively delivered important speeches, in which the direction of restructuring in the future was clarified that we should change the extensive type of development to intensive type of development and and lean management, change the unitary type to diversified type on industrial structure, and change the conventional products to the high-quality and cutting edge products. During the seminar, all participants who were divided into five teams, discussed in depth on the restructuring development strategy and the relevant issues, and evaluated the facing difficulties and agreed on the next path of development.
