In the evening of July 4th, the "Monthly Working Arrangement & Production Mobilization Meeting" was held in Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (JNCXHI). In the meeting, the Production Management Dept, Quality Assurance and Control Dept., Accuracy Management Dept., HSE Dept., Procurement and Supply Dept., Power Supply and Facility Maintenance Dept. and Logistics Management Dept. respectively released the Working Reports of the Coming Third Quarter. During the meeting, the Vice President Mr. Zhang Jian delivered a pep talk.
He reviewed on the completion status of the JNCXHI's Production in first half year and then emphatically analyzed the status and tasks of the Production in second half year. Mr. Zhang pointed out that the production situation in the second half year is still grim, with the coexistence of opportunities and risks, we are facing more risks than opportunities. The task of the second half year is to deliver 8 vessels in 4 different types. Confronting with challenge of the tight schedule and overload task, each department should pay more attention to how to improve the efficiency while reducing the cost, how to effectively promote management level as well as how to achieve lean shipbuilding. The improvement of management and the implement of all work should started from "ensuring the integrity of construction before launching, moving the working process forward, making bold innovations as well as Cost Reduce and Efficiency Improvement". He required for every department should follow the measures from 6 aspects to ensure the working task can be fully implemented and the plan can be controlled. Firstly, based on the delivery of dozens of Container Ships, all the employees must be with the strong sense of honor, crisis and responsibility. Secondly, setting goals and assigning responsibilities, to actively carry out labor competitions, focusing on both evaluation and motivation. Thirdly, the Working Chiefs and Production in Charge from all departments should be with strong execution and responsibilities, never debating, shirking and wrangling. Fourthly, all departments uphold" unifying thoughts, unifying plan, unifying command and solidarity" as company spirit to stand and working together as well as overcome all the difficulties. Fifthly, to enhance the sense of quality oriented and improve quality management. Sixthly, keeping clear mind in construction period of VLGC, during the construction of VLGC, the department leaders should personally participant in and pay more attention to it.
