At noon on March 3rd, SWS Youth League Affairs Office carried out the volunteer activity of “learning from Lei Feng” on the first floor of the Science and Technology Building, Canteen of the Hull-outfitting and Installation Department  and  front square of the Manufacturing Dept. The youth leaguers in SWS practiced Lei Feng Spirit through their practical actions. 

     2017 is the 54th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong’s inscription” learning from Lei Feng”, this volunteer activity is themed by “Promote Lei Feng Spirit, Participate in volunteer service”. The activity included “Donate books with love, Concern about Spring Bud” (books donation), health consultation, psychological consultation, phone screen film pasting, taking identification photos, hair-cutting service, fabric mending service, cleaning glasses service, cleaning the office etc. The volunteers’ friendly and considerate service attracted many staff to participate in it. Especially “Donate books with love, Concern about Spring Bud” (the book donation activity)When the staff noticed that the receivers are students from “CSSCS Spring Bud Class”, some of them bought sets of stationeries for the students from online shop, others especially expressed their books from hometowns, everyone offered their affection by different ways, and fulfilled their social responsibilities.

     There were up to 410 people accepted the service on the Leifeng Memorial Day. SWS Youth League will organize youth leaguers to carry out the volunteer activity of “warm family” at Caolu nursing home. The volunteers fully showed the spirit of “Dedication, Affection, Cooperation, Progress” during the activities and the overall  spiritual civilization image of the staff.
