On Dec. 12, CSSC Holding Co. Ltd. announced that Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS) purchased 26% shares of Zhangjiagang Shenghui Gas Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. (Shenghui Equipment), and SWS holds the effective control over the company. With this acquisition, SWS will get involved in the field of LNG equipment rapidly. "Shanghui Equipment", as the leader of LNG storage and applications industry, has extensive experience in manufacturing the cryogenic gas equipment, of which the products are widely used in chemical, petroleum, natural gas, metallurgy, power equipment and marine areas. The major clients include Sinopec, Petro China, Shenhua, China Coal, Sinochem, Hongkong and China Gas, ENN Group, Xinjiang Guanghui, Qinghua Group, etc.
