In the morning of Jan. 24, organized by the Production Management Dept., the leaders of SWS who are in charge of the production, and the relevant directors from various departments went to SLO for the site evaluation and acceptance of the first-built superstructure and engine casing of SLO.
The first-built superstructure and engine casing were fully recognized by the leaders of SWS. Through the site evaluation, the directors from various departments also made some comments for the improvement, focusing on the division of work after the superstructure and engine casing being moved to SWS, the directors had made a discussion.
The first-built superstructure and engine casing of SLO successfully passed the acceptance, which marks that the construction of superstructure in SLO is stepping toward the commercialization construction mode. It created the favorable conditions for reducing the pressure on the site resources of SWS, further compressing the drydock cycle, increasing the batches of drydock turnover and improve the integrity while launching.
