At 7 pm on Jan 15, with the completion of lighting wiring work in the lime tank of main hull, the “lighting project” of JU-2000E (H1288) was being completed according to the schedule. SWS has successfully achieved the first milestone of three safety control steps which are lighting, ventilation and fire control.

After the integration of the main deck, the construction inside of the hull part became in a relatively confined environment which influenced the ventilation and lighting during the construction.   Based on employees’ safety oriented and upholding the concept of safety first in lean production, the “lighting project” was proposed by top management of SWS.   Due to a series of objective factors such as the function areas covering a wide range, cable laying inabilities and etc, the lighting project was beset with difficulties at the beginning. Therefore, the Commissioning Dept. of SWS set up the special plan to fulfill the “lighting project” completion. Depending on the good coordination of the relevant management personnel and the overtime hard work of subcontractor Mingyang, the “lighting Project” has succeeded in stage.

With the accordance of the construction schedule, Commissioning Dept. is taking all the effort to achieve ventilation and fire control in Jack-up safety control.   Meanwhile, to improve the lean production level in Offshore construction, the Commissioning Dept. actively focuses on the research of technical support for H1288 generator test onboard in the drydock.
