On July 11, the friends from Taiwan and the employees of SWS gathered to witness the naming ceremony of a 206,000 DWT bulk carrier (H1173) on No. 4 Quay in SWS.

The ceremony was hosted by the president of SWS, Mr. Wang Qi, on which the chairman of SWS, Mr. Huang Yongxi delivered the greeting speech. On the ceremony, the both sides expressed their willingness to carry out the multi-level exchanges and cooperation， and continuously open up a new situation of win-win cooperation in more areas, with the cohesion of the wisdom and strength of the descendants of the Yellow Emperor to strengthen the Chinese nation by the development of shipping, shipbuilding and offshore engineering, and promote the prosperity and strength of the Chinese nation.
With everyone’s attention, H1173 was named as “Zhonghua Pioneer” and unveiled by the godmother--- Ms. Ding Wenying.
It is reported, “Zhonghua Pioneer” has been following “Zhonghua Peace”, “Zhonghua Progress” and “Zhonghua Pride”, the forth ship built for the China Maritime Transport Ltd. (CMT).by SWS. It’s fully demonstrated that there are the stable and friendly cooperation relations in the shipbuilding industry and the shipping industry of both sides of Taiwan Strait.
