In early morning of April 7, SCH drydock unveiled its second shifts of launching curtain in 2016. Two 208,000 DWT Bulk Carriers, H1360 and H1371, launched out of the drydock. Another two semi 180,000 DWT Bulk Carriers, H1315 and H1345, floated in the dock. With the full coordination of all departments, it only cost SCH 39 days to draw a full round in drydock and repeated her record of "Two 40-day" in drydock period which significantly advanced and boosted its production pace into the fast lane.
It is noted that the Erection Department in SCH finished full deck mooring equipment installation and counter-top reinforcement welding as well as nearly one hundred ash damper accessories fitting and welding in cofferdam tanks and around hatch coaming within this period. In total, Erection Department finished the staging disassembling work in 6 tanks and made it convenient for cargo tank grinding and painting during drydock period and brought the integrity of launching condition to a new level.
