In the meeting, it firstly praised for the good results departments have achieved in organizing labor contests on production, operation and management in September. The presenters looked back at the production and management work in the previous three quarters, and compared the work to the annual goal set and subsequently pointed out the important work in the 4th quarter. Meanwhile, it released the progressing situation and its following action plan according to the 48 key items of work that were set at the beginning of this year.
In the meeting, Wang Qi points out that the great and gratifying results were achieved in the previous three quarters because employees worked together on operational undertaking, completion of vessels, lean management and scientific research projects. All those have paved a firm foundation for us to achieve our annual goal. At the same time, he requested that we still should perserve ourselves in the 4th quarter, and continue to pace the operation and production rhythm well, realizing annually working aim and target; on the other hand, we still need to pay attention on safety, ensuring stable quality; In addition, company would strictly implement performance evaluation system to further enhance management level.
The Chairman Huang Yongxi combined points in the PPT of "a true story of building 8100 TEU container ship" from a foreign advanced shipyard and he states that we still need to find a benchmark and the gap between us and foreign advanced shipyards, and then we have to make a 3-year plan to catch up, and we need to further improve our lean management performance, believing in ourselves, striving hard and building SWS as a world leading shipyard.
