On April 30, the first main generator of H1288 realized running, which marked the project entered the substantive commissioning phase. The jack-up construction in Drydock achieved a milestone, which laid a solid foundation for subsequent rigs pile up and cantilever beam sliding. This type generator is more complex than the one of marine products, in order to overcome the difficulty of this milestone, SWS Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept. put the jack-up generator running test in the drydock as the key project of the new technology and new production process in 2013 to strengthen the research and implementation of planning since the end of last year. Around the conditions that the generator installing needed, facing the lag preliminary work of the first jack-up and other difficulties, in the past two months, we overcome the difficulties and worked hard. During this period, we completed the cable laying of a total of 26731 meters the connections of 989 cables, the installation inspection of 22 electrical equipments, the inspections of 11 auxiliary equipments, the inspections of fuel oil system, lube oil system, and high-low temperature fresh water system, the casting oil of oil system, the batten down of 3 cabins. We also actively took various measures to solve the mismatch problem related system interface. Before the generator running test, under the joint efforts of Machinery Installation and Commissioning Dept. and Hull Outfitting and Installation Dept., the filling work of nearly 600 barrels of distilled water was completed, which timely meet the conditions of running test. The commissioning team of Offshore Project Dept. also arranged in advance for the generator running test by organizing several inspections of integrity to ensure the generator running test safe and orderly.
