On June 16, “Shipyard Safety Impression in Children’s Eyes”---Children’s Painting Competition hosted by PR Dept. and co-hosted by HSE Dept. and Youth League Affairs Office, was held in SWS which attracted more than 40 children of our employees to participate in. The youngest participant is only three and half years old, and the oldest one is twelve years old.
In order to give the children the in-depth and direct visual impression of their parents working condition, and help them to paint better in the competition, the competition staff organized all children to visit the shipyard before the competition. It was the first time for the children to visit a shipyard, all of them were very excited, and asking questions with great interest. They all showed strong senses of curiosity and thirst for knowledge. After the visiting and being guided by two invited guidance teachers, the paint competition started and all children painted attentively. After painting, each child delivered a brief introduction of his (or her) idea on the works, and all children took a group photo when the competition was over. 
The purpose of holding this Children’s Painting Competition is to explode and improve the safety awareness of employees through the participation of employees’ families and pass the families’ care to the employees.
