June is a national “Safety Production” month, SWS sets the third week of June as the theme of Publicity and Consultation Week. Combining with current production situation and staff’s demand, the series of various activities were carried out in SWS.
     On June 19, an occupational health roadshow was jointly organized by SWS and 3M China at Safety Plaza of HSE Simulation Center.  It was divided into three parts: simulation truck, on-site consultation and lecture.  Through diversified physical simulation, multi-media experience and on-site consultation, this roadshow offered us a lucid analysis for the occupational risk factors and explanation of how to correctly and scientifically wear the personal protective equipment.  The occupational health expert from 3M China trained 30 safety supervisors by an occupational health and safety lecture in Training Center.  In the afternoon, a lecturers group from Guangzhou Shipbuilding Industry brought us a remarkable lecture about “Safe is good fortune”.
On June 20, SWS held a first aid skill contest, including from 7 production departments, Power Supply and Facility Maintenance department and Procurement & Supply department, there were totally 9 teams entered the contest.  The contest includes rescue breathing, CPR, wounded carrying and use of fire control equipment.  During the contest, team players’ proficient skills, expert cooperation and quick reaction show our employees’ skilled rescue abilities.
    Beside the activities organized by company, every department organized employees learning safety knowledge readers.  Through Carrying out the activities in Publicity and Consultation Week, staff not only mastered the safety knowledge but also set up security consciousness.
