On the morning of March 6, 2019,the unveiling and kick off ceremony of SWS Offshore Qidong Branch was held in Qidong Shipbuilding Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province. Wang Qi, CPC committee Secretary, and Chairman of SWS, Yuan Feipeng, Deputy CPC committee Secretary, Wu Yongjun, Assistant President of SWS, CPC committee Secretary and Vice Chairman of SWS Offshore, Guo Changlin, CPO of SWS, Chen Jianwei, President of SWS Offshore, Zhang Cong, General Manager of Honghua Ocean (Jiangsu), Feng Qi, General Manager of Honghua Ocean (Shanghai) Company, etc. attended the ceremony.

Yuan Feipeng and Chen Jianwei jointly unveiled the SWS Offshore Qidong Branch. Under the witness of the guests, Wu Yongjun and Zhang Cong pressed the ignition button, which announced the official kick off for SWS Offshore Qidong Branch.

Wang Qi and his delegation listened to the special report of SWS Offshore on Qidong Branch's system construction, production tasks and future prospects, and highly appreciated the high quality and high efficiency reflected in the establishment of the branch.

SWS Offshore has started preparations for the branch office since January this year. On February 16th, the Qidong project team was established. The project team has overall planning, careful coordination, implementation of special supervision and inspection, layout of production preparation and shipowner factory inspection, rapid organization system construction and human resources structure. With the strong support of SWS and the efforts of all departments of SWS Offshore, through the short-term and rapid operation and efficient layout, SWS Offshore has successfully obtained the branch business license, and all production preparations are well prepared. Orderly, the on-site production is fully rolled out, truly reflecting the “high-standard implementation of the plan and the efficient allocation of resources”.

SWS Offshore Qidong Branch mainly undertakes the production and operation activities such as ship-to-ship and non-ship operations. It is the requirement for SWS Offshore to respond quickly to the high-quality development strategy of SWS, comprehensively develop the spatial layout, and the landing practice of go out to develop production capacity.
