On the morning of June 16, CSSC President Wu Qiang, Vice President Sun Wei together with their visiting crews, arrived at SWS site to care for Safety Production Work of the 20000TEU Container Ship under construction.

Beside the NO.1 dock, Wu Qiang carefully learnt the performance and launching preparation of the first built 20000TEU Container Ship “H1413”.  It is one of the largest container ship with the largest main particulars, the most loading capacity, also the largest container ship which independently designed and built in China so far.

During the process of shipbuilding, SWS staffs fully carried forward the spirit of endeavor, brought their wisdom into play, overcame many difficulties, broke through the key technologies and construction milestones consecutively, perfectly finished various shipbuilding tasks before launching. It also made a new record on the largest container ship built in Shanghai or even in China which marked SWS had already  entered into the advanced ranks in construction of 20000TEU Container Ships.  

Vice Chairman of China Cruise & Yacht Industry Association(CCYIA), Zhang Zhaoben, Assistant President of CSSC, Xu Miao, department directors of Development & Planning Department, Shipbuilding and Offshore Departmen,t and Technology Department; leaders from Marine Design and Research Institute of China, Guangzhou Shipyard International and other sister companies, chairman of SWS, Wang Qi and President of SWS, Sheng Jigang accompanied the visit.
