On February 29, delivery ceremony for H1338, the third bulk carrier of 180000T built for Starbulk SA was held in SWS. Technical manager of Starbulk Mr. Marinos G. Anastassiou, the project manager of SWS and representative of China shipping trading company (CSTC) signed the delivery documents on behalf of respective parties. H1338 was constructed in response to comprehensive implementation of work conference spirit of CSSC, it is elaborately designed with excellent performance and oil consumption which can reach first class level among the same type of vessels in the world. Taking the successive delivery of H1312、H1373、H1338 as opportunity, SWS will continue to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation with Starbulk to lay a concrete foundation for bulk carrier construction in the future. The delivery of the vessel further consolidates SWS’ dominant role in construction of Capsize bulk carrier, which will boost SWS employees’ confidence in return. It is reported, cooperation projects between SWS and Starbulk contain bulk carrier of 180000T and 206000T type respectively. According to SWS’s schedule, more bulk carriers in this project will be delivered in the first half of 2016.
