In the morning of December 18th, the naming ceremony for the 10th Capesize bulk carrier H1325 built for Taiwan U-Ming, was greatly held at No.5 Quay in SWS. The Naming Ceremony was held by Chen Jun, the Vice President of SWS. The Chairman of SWS, Mr. Huang Yongxi delivered the welcome speech, he said that U-ming shipping has a long-term cooperative relationship with SWS. The international shipping market has been in recession ever since 2010, but U-Ming has continuously ordered 12 Capesize bulk carriers at SWS and 9 of them have been successfully delivered. This is the great achievement between the shipping and shipbuilding industry across the strait to challenging market and realizes mutual trust and benefits. The naming ceremony of the new vessel will promote the partnership between the two parties. CSSC Vice President --- Mr Nan Daqing said that in recent years, CSSC keeps to enhance the research and construction level of energy conservation and environmental protection vessel and has built a number of energy conservation and environmental protection bulk carriers with high performance for Far Eastern Group and U-ming , as the response to shipowner's requirements to improve the constitution of the shipping ability, reduce the cost and promote the competition in the current market. By increasingly frequent cooperation and communication, the mainland shipbuilding companies and shipping companies in Taiwan enhance mutual understanding and trust and also built the platform for further cooperation and communication. Mr Xu Xudong, Chairman of Taiwan Far Eastern Group approved the quality of the newly named vessel and expressed gratitude to SWS employees for their hard work and hope to improve the communication, enhance the partnership and deepen the friendship. The two sides of the strait share the same root and the friendship between the shipbuilding and shipping industry has been increasing, accordingly, the naming of H1325 will certainly enhance the friendship. Ms Holly Lye named the new vessel as "CAPE SUCCESS" and cut the ribbon for it in blessings.
