The Seven Working Sites in SWS Received the Awards of "Star-Working Site"

On Dec. 3, the information came from the Annual Awards Ceremony hosted by China Quality Association that the Steel Cutting Section of Manufacturing Dept. SWS, the Steel Cutting Section of Manufacturing Dept. SWS Offshore and Workshop Section of Blasting and Coating Dept. SWS were awarded the title of "National Five-Star Working Area". Besides of that, the good news also came from the Shanghai Quality Association, the Workshop Section of Blasting and Coating Dept. SWS was awarded as the "Shanghai Five-Star Working Area", the Piping Section of Piping Fabrication Dept. SWS, Manufacturing Dept. of SWS Offshore and Blasting and Coating Dept. of SWS Offshore were awarded as the title of "Shanghai Four-Star Working Area". In this year, our company achieved huge numbers of fruitful results in Evaluation of Working Site Management activity as well as set many magnificent records. It was the first time to apply the "National Five-star Working Area" by the unit of Department; it was the first time for SWS Offshore to be awarded "National Five-star Working Area",; it was the first time for the company to be awarded as "National Five-Star Working Area" for three times in a year. This year can be regarded as the milestone year for promotion of evaluation level for site management activities in which the company broke the record of awards of "Star Working Site" not only in levels but also in quantities. From the beginning of implementing management evaluation of working site in 2010, by four years effort, SWS gradually set up a favorable ambiance of the continuous improvement for working site management step by step, as a result it has continuously raised the staffs' quality awareness. With the joint effort of candidate departments and relevant function departments, taking this opportunity of working site evaluation, all the departments have completed the targets of setting up the higher standards, quality control, visual management, cost control and creating the departmental cultures.
