In the morning of Nov. 18th, the Steel Cutting Ceremony of the first built PSV was held at Manufacturing Dept. in SWS Offshore. It was reported that H1340 is the first-built PSV undertaken by SWS Offshore with the overall length of 83.4 meters, molded breadth of 18 meters, molded depth of 8 meters, the designed loading of 3100 tons, and the maximum loading capacity of 4000 tons, of which the owner is Pacific Radiance from Singapore. The vessel is registered by DNV. The PSV adopting X-BOW bow type and being equipped by full electric propulsion system and DP2 dynamic positioning system, can carry various of goods and oil, and has the functions of external firefighting. The performance of the vessel can adapt to the relatively bad weather and sea conditions in North Sea area of Europe with high flexibility, large loading capacity, high efficiency, being convenient for terminal supply and the strong expansion for offshore operation.
