On April 10, the ventilation of four fans respectively located on the aft part of P and S of the first built jack-up Drilling Platform--H1288 was completed, which the more security system was put into operation following the illumination system of engineroom. It is the good preparation for the generator start of H1288 and also is the beginning of the commissioning for this offshore project.
It is reported that the fan delivery of one main fan is 180,000 m3 per hour with the inlet air of 200,000 m3 per hour, which can fully meet the ventilation demand of the whole engineroom. During the rainny season in June and the coming summer, with two sets of fans working together, the temperature inside of engineroom will be reduced and the working condition will be greatly improved.
For realizing this milestone, the Owner Site Team, Offshore Project Dept, the Offshore Engineering Department, Procurement and Supply Dept. Out-fitting and Installation Dept.(SWS), and Machinery Installation and Commission Dept.(SWS) have jointly overcame various problems during the construction process of fans with full team spirit.
