During the lunch time of both Feb. 1st and 2nd, the charity auction of Mr. Xu Kaiji 's  Calligraphic Works was held in SWS.

This special charity auction was sponsored by PR Dept. and CPC Affairs Dept., which is one of the activities of "Learning from Lei Feng" in SWS. The auction site was full of people and the extremely warm atmosphere. With the enthusiastic participation of the shipyard employees, nearly 30 pieces of Xu’s calligraphic work were sold out soon. On site, Mr. Xu Kaiji ---the employee of CPC Affairs Dept. signed on the "Calligraphy Portfolio" for charity selling. The calligraphic works for celebrating the first drill of "Hai Yang Shi You 981" in South China Sea, and the work with Poem of Mao Zedong were sold for the highest price.

While the two-day charity auction was over, the final total donation amount reached to 21,240 yuan RMB. It is reported that the raised money will be donated to the handicapped of Shanghai Rui Miao Foster Home, and the Charity School for shipyard migrant workers' children.
