On Jan. 4, 2013, the Safety Committee Extended Meeting & Safety Commitment Signing Ceremony was held in SWS.  The Vice Presidents signed 2013 safety commitment agreement with the relevant directors on behalf of their in charged departments respectively. It means a new round of safety management work started again in the whole year.

In 2013, SWS safety management focuses on lean safety management and fully carrying out activity of comparing to the model units under the basis of implementing HSE overall policy which will enhance the skill training, reduce of accident rate, strengthening prevention, and promoting the company image. In the meeting, taking the opportunity of the review of safety standard in production, all departments were requested to fully complete the signing of safety commitment with all level staff, and continuous carry out the shift training of safety simulation for all staff. Besides, SWS will take effort to popularize KYT (Kiken Yochi Training) and JSA, strengthen 5S management, enhance internal road traffic safety management, especially to strengthen the on site safety inspection e to decrease the accident rate.

The signing of safety commitment gets full swing recently. After signing the commitment respectively, every personnel will realize their own safety responsibility and make great efforts to set up a harmonious, stable and sustainable modern shipyard.
